The plate heat exchanger possesses a series of superior properties to other heat transfer equipment, such as excellent flexibility, high heat thermal efficiency, low cost and easy maintenance. Our product with corrugated plates is engineered to achieve turbulence across the entire heat exchanging area, achieving optimal heat transfer coefficients with the minimal pressure loss. That is to say, the smaller the heat transferring area and the device are, the more benefits customers can get due to less space, lessened flow rate and smaller pump.

There are a certain number of plates corrugated in different designs and arranged among the pressure frames, enlarging the total surface area of the plate heat exchanger. In the frame, the plated can be moved and mounted on the carrying bar that is located at the top and bottom of the frame. Seen from the sideway aspect, paired plates arranged oppositely form a honeycomb pattern.

Both the fixed plate and the pressure plate are supported by columns and connected by the gaskets, which get the materials sealed from sideway or through holes on the plates. Meanwhile, the gaskets are arranged crossly so as to prevent the fluids in the passages from mixing.

As the chevron corrugated plates enlarge the surface area, increase the high turbulent flow and get the fluid distributed excellently, this plate heat exchanger achieves high heat exchanging efficiency.

In addition, wide fluid passages among plates significantly minimize the fouling rate. Our product is especially suitable for exchanging the heat of two kinds of media that have similar temperature and flow rates.

Similar to the frame heat exchanger, this plate type machine is also easy for assembling and disassembling and convenient for cleaning. It takes little time to dismantle the single plate when the machine needs to be cleaned or refurbished. Excellent corrosive resistance and slight fouling make the product need less maintenance than other similar equipment. Additionally, it is flexible to expand the machine for increasing the flow rate of liquid or other applications.

3. Compact Design
It is not at all uncommon that the plate or frame type heat exchanging device may be one fifth large of the shell and tube heat exchanger in size with equal heat transfer capacity. In such compact dimension, this product is space saving and cost efficient. Available in various specifications and materials, it is applied to all kinds of applications in different fields.

4. Low Cost
Made of fewer materials in smaller dimension, the gasketed plate heat exchanger is the initial choice for economic heat transfer task. In general, the materials for making plate and gasket are subject to specific applications so as to make the machine fitted for design and fluid requirements.

Our gasketed machine makes little fluid loss because of its advanced gasket design and corrugated plate. It becomes the perfect choice for transferring expensive and caustic fluids. Furthermore, the machine is expandable for meeting requirements of new applications or enlarging the flow rate and users don't need to get a new one.

To meet specific application requirements, parts of the plate heat exchanger are made of diversified materials. Therein, the plate usually adopts the stainless steel, titanium, titanium-palladium, nickel, hastelloy C276 and SMO-254 material to enhance the durability and heat transfer efficiency. Yet the gasket is often made of Nitrile, EPDM and Viton, supporting pasted or clip-on designs.
